May DOWLING (née Killeen)

DOWLING (née Killeen) May (Dublin 7) September 30th 2021. Peacefully after a long illness, very bravely borne, in the loving care of her family and the staff of St. Elizabeth’s Ward, Mater Private Hospital. Beloved wife of Denis, loving mother to Denise, Jason and Wayne. Loving Nana to Chloe, Matthew, Cameron, Renata, Hannah, Mia, Holly, Callum, Ryan, Jessica, Amber and pre deceased by her grandson Desmond Kelly. Sadly missed by her relatives, in-laws, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

The family would like a special word of heartfelt thanks to all the staff of St Elizabeth’s ward in The Mater Private Hospital. May’s family would like to thank one nurse in particular from St Elizabeth’s ward and that is May’s Granddaughter Chloe Kelly, who nursed, supported and loved her Nana very much. We are truly greatful to you Chloe Kelly. 

Funeral Mass on Monday morning, October 4th, at the Church of The Most Precious Blood, Cabra West at 10am, followed by cremation service at Glasnevin Crematorium at 11.30am approximately.   Please note that the capacity of the crematorium chapel is limited to 50% to 60 persons attending but can be viewed online at https://www.mcnmedia.tv/cameras/glasnevin-cemetery.
