Carmel PURCELL (née Caulfield)

The death has occurred of Carmel Purcell (née Caulfield), unexpectedly but peacefully, at her home in the loving care of her family.  Late of Dublin and formerly of Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon

Predeceased by her parents Thomas Joseph (Joe) and Margaret (née Morrisroe) and her youngest sister Denise Martina. Beloved wife of Liam, dearly loved mother of Coman (Berlin), loving sister of Fr. Joe (Gurteen), Padraig, Michael (Bridget), Frances Doyle (John), Aidan (Sara) and Anthony (Fionnuala); sister-in-law of Una Purcell (Athlone), Martin and Marian Purcell (Boyle), and family Séan, Paul, Elaine Taheny.  Carmel will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews Barry, Aisling, Paul, Dearbhaile and Aoife Doyle; Catherine, Thomas, Helen and Claire Caulfield; Eibhleann Caulfield; by her aunt Christine Brady (Iona Road); by her cousins of the Gallagher and Morrisroe families, relatives, neighbours and friends

Reposing on Monday evening, Jan. 3rd, from 4pm to 6pm, at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Civic Centre, Ballymun Road, D09 C8P5, for family and close friends only please, and also in accordance with very strict public health guidelines. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Jan. 4th, at 1.30pm in Saint Patrick’s Church, Crossna, Boyle, followed by interment in Killeenan Cemetery, Cootehall. Please note that the funeral Mass can be viewed online at https://youtu.be/MYg3yYFc65c. Also, that as Saint Patrick’s Church has limited capacity, those to attend the Mass will be the family, relatives, close neighbours and friends only please.
